Method
- Cut the chicken into even 1-inch pieces and pat dry with paper towels.
- Toss chicken with oil, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Preheat the air fryer to 390 F if your model recommends preheating.
- Arrange chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if needed.
- Air fry for 8 to 11 minutes, shaking or flipping halfway through.
- Check the thickest pieces with a food thermometer. Chicken should reach 165 F internal temperature.
- Transfer hot chicken to a bowl. Toss with parmesan, parsley, lemon juice, and optional melted butter or extra olive oil.
- Rest for 2 to 3 minutes before serving or portioning into meal prep containers.
