Ingredients

Chicken
  • 1.5 lb boneless skinless chicken breast cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
Wraps
  • 4 large tortillas or wraps
  • 2 cups chopped romaine shredded lettuce, or spinach
  • 1 cup diced tomato cucumber, or bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt ranch light ranch, tzatziki, honey mustard, or sauce of choice
  • Shredded cheese avocado, pickles, hot sauce, or green onion, optional

Equipment

  • 1 Air fryer
  • 1 Food thermometer

Method

  1. Cut the chicken into even 1-inch pieces and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Toss chicken with oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 390 F if your model recommends preheating.
  4. Arrange chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if needed.
  5. Air fry for 8 to 11 minutes, shaking or flipping halfway through.
  6. Check the thickest pieces with a food thermometer. Chicken should reach 165 F internal temperature.
  7. Rest chicken for 2 to 3 minutes.
  8. Warm tortillas briefly so they fold without cracking.
  9. Layer lettuce, chicken, vegetables, sauce, and optional toppings on each tortilla.
  10. Fold in the sides, roll tightly, and slice in half if desired.

Notes

Nutrition is an estimate and will vary based on tortilla size, sauce, toppings, chicken brand, and serving size. Cook chicken to 165 F internal temperature as measured with a food thermometer.
